The pain, anguish, sleeplessness, and never-ending feelings of loneliness are horrible. When we feel lonely, our body can physically feel colder, be more susceptible to illnesses, and, on an emotional level, push our family and friends away because we are so miserable from the inside out.

There are many forms of loneliness, and today, I’m addressing mental loneliness. For me, mental loneliness is when I have no one to share my thoughts, feelings, or topics of interest to anyone. It’s like being trapped within myself.

I know we all have our favorite things to talk about, and it’s not easy to find someone who shares our interests. This can be very frustrating. When I feel this way, I turn to color and writing.

Isn’t it amazing how, for so many, color is an instant uplift? Thank God for my career in color, where I work with color on a daily basis. I also have this blog where I can write to my heart’s content. This helps me tremendously.

It’s important to find an outlet that will help release those feelings of loneliness. I mentioned two of mine, and I hope you’ll try them as well.

Now, what colors will help heal loneliness? Pink and green, for sure!

In this graphic, you’ll see soft colors and what looks like a pinkish Angel figure in the center. You’ll also see a tiny pink heart. These pink and green colors represent the Heart Chakra. These are the colors that, when you focus on them, you immediately feel lighter and put yourself on a different vibration.

Loneliness has a very heavy vibration, which is why it feels so bad. All lower vibrational emotions feel bad. Let’s get your vibration up to where it needs to be!

The first suggestion is to “resist thinking alone.” When you stop putting all your energy into it and focus on the fact that you may not have the perfect person to talk to or express how you feel, your vibration will begin to change. There are other ways to express your feelings and let them out, and this is where writing comes in.

When you begin to refocus and change, not only will other people notice or feel your new vibration, but you will, too. This is when you will start to be noticeable to people who are in your equal vibration. It’s at this time that you may find people who share your interests.

This was a mouthful, but basically, what I’m saying is to love yourself more, focus on yourself, and reemerge with your inner lighter self. This self is your “Home Frequency,” and it’s here that you need to thrive. How do you find your Home Frequency? By doing what you love and noting that feeling when you are in that zone.

Time helps this process as well, but as soon as you release the lower vibe of worry, things change. Like-minded people come into your life, and it’s now that you’ll begin to release your thoughts and share the topics that are important to you with other ears to listen.
